Dar es Salaam, the commercial capital of Tanzania and the second largest city in East Africa has a vibrant outbound travel market both for leisure travel and business. African & Indian Ocean hotel groups, airlines, tourism organizations, beach resorts, and safari lodges are invited to participate in this live face-to-face TravelExpo on 21 September at Serena Hotel Dares Salaam.

The focus of the TravelExpo is to promote domestic tourism as well as inter-regional tourism to African countries and overseas destinations.

Dar es Salaam is served by many regional & international airlines including Air Tanzania, Airlink, Turkish Airlines, Qatar, Emirates, Fly Dubai, Uganda Airlines, Kenya Airways, Rwandair, KLM, Ethiopian Airlines, Egypt Air, Oman Air with other airlines looking at the potential to fly into DAR.

The Dar es Salaam expatriate & diplomatic communities represent a major market for leisure and business travel. Dar es Salaam-based inbound tour operators, travel agents, NGOs, and Corporates will be invited. We expect 80-100 trade and corporates to attend.
